How long does it take to plan a Wedding?
Although planning a wedding in Greece does take over 250 hours of planning and there are several choices and decisions that may seem overwhelming, when there is a clear process everything just falls into place. Your wedding can be a lovely intimate and minimal ceremony or as elaborate as you wish.
What does a planner do?
Selecting the ideal location, establishing a timeline of the day, planning all your logistics, budget analysis, design of space, decor elements,, staffing, vendor management, risk management, production and breakdown of the event are some of our main responsibiliites.
What are some challenges?
Having a wedding abroad requires extensive knowledge on the destination. With a local planner you do not have to think about language barriers and communication issues with vendors and venues. Setting the date is not so simple if you don’t know about the cultural festivals and events that may cause issues or distractions from your big day.

Step One | Ceremony
CIVIL CEREMONY
This is usually a very short ceremony that takes place in a city hall with the mayor lasting about 20 min. I will assist you with all the procedures, translations, and paperwork that needs to be prepared well in advance. If you would rather have the legal ceremony at a venue of your choice and not in the city hall, this is also possible. You may choose to keep it simple and sweet or you can continue with a party celebration at the venue of your choice.
SYMBOLIC CEREMONY
Celebrate your commitment and love for each with a symbolic ceremony including close friends and family. This type of ceremony is completely personalized at any location of your choice. I am able to provide you with an officiant or you can choose someone dear to you to perform the ceremony. Let's begin designing your dreamy Aegean Wedding.
RELIGIOUS CEREMONY
The churches and chapels are a characteristic woven into the landscape. Churches of admired architecture towering proudly over village rooftops, chapels nesting on mountain peaks, sheltered in dense forests, on the seaside, or hidden in caves are an essential element of the island. Step Three | Ideal Planning Package
Advice & Paperwork
I am happy to assist you with your legalities and appointments with the officials if you are planning a civil ceremony in Greece. The translations of your documents, application, checking all your documents to ensure they are correct and any advice you may need will be provided for you. We will have a pre-wedding meeting and you will be provided with an escort the following day to the city hall to generate your Marriage Certificate. All consultations, emails and phone calls are included.
Wedding Day
If you wish to play an active role in the planning and would like someone there to take care of the last minute details ensuring that all will go according to your plans, then perhaps you need a coordinator. All correspondence in the form of communication that you select from the day of the contract is included. We will meet with the vendors you have booked as well as the venue prior to the wedding day to verify the details of their services. Get in touch with us to further discuss the details of what is included in this package.
Partial Planning
For the couple who has already arranged a few things and needs support to finalise their special vendors or has not found that special venue yet, professional support and planning are provided. All communication and correspondence is included as well as all pre-wedding meetings with vendors. Your special DIY projects will be incorporated as per your instructions and your ceremony and reception will be managed accordingly.
All Inclusive
Relax and enjoy the magical moments. Full scale planning and design of your wedding means removing all the stress and keeping the only the fun. Every detail is planned and produced always according to your wishes. All communication, correspondence, and meetings are included and unlimited. All aspects of your destination wedding are included and managed.
